Thursday, January 28, 2010 - Take a page out of a librarian's book
Can you think of a profession in which the values of simple living are better represented than that of librarian? These people after all are purveyors of wisdom and culture; they share books and resources, electronic and otherwise, with their communities. They’ve always had a maximum impact with minimal resources — never truer than today. In this time of financial and environmental crisis, take a page (or two) out of your librarian’s book. And follow Laura Bruzas’ suggestion on the newly launched American Libraries’ Green Your Library blog: support a $100 recycling center in your library.
