Here at the Simple Living office, we are all in the full throes of
production for the second season of our Simple Living series. Bob, our field producer and all-around task master, keeps us all on task and always knows the right thing to keep us all motivated. Emily, our office manager—a newly minted (2005) graduate of Mercer University in Macon, GA.—occasionally gets lonely up here in Mount Airy without school friends or many people her own age. The other day I was impressed when on the spur of the moment, Bob, probably sensing that Emily needed a little attention, invited her out to eat Thai food with him. They both came back with lifted spirits.
