Frank and I are hard at work on a 25-minute public service video on the topic of overcoming obesity. The Moses Cone-Wesley Long Community Health Foundation of Greensboro, North Carolina made a grant to Simple Living this fall to provide not only content for our public television series (episode #210 that includes a segment on obesity will air Sunday, December 18 at 6 p.m. on UNCTV), but to draw footage from project and extend the video into a full-service community outreach video. What a wonderful, smart use of resources. The footage shot for the Simple Living series could be used again in another format at no additional charge! We have had to do a bit more additional shooting and had scheduled Thursday to be a shoot date in Mount Airy. But with a call for winter weather, including snow or freezing rain, we’ve postponed the shoot date till Friday. In addition to the voiceover session for Frank’s script, we will be shooting a few standups and will shoot at the Jones School Cafeteria, our Henry’s school. We’ll shoot children in the lunch line, making (we hope) healthy choices!
