Travel seems to be the name of the game lately. Frank and I headed up to Minnesota early last Monday morning and returned in the wee hours on Thursday. It was an exhausting, exhilarating trip. Under the threat of snow, we drove north from the Twin Cities into Bemidji and Grand Rapids. Then we traveled to Hastings to celebrate Smead’s 50 years of female leadership last Tuesday and meet various people for coffee, dinner and for fellowship. What an inspiring and generous lot Minnesotans are. We North Carolinians surely appreciate them.
