Today Frank returns to his alma mater, Wesleyan University in
Middletown, CT, to speak to parents and alums about his life. Frank graduated 31 years ago, in 1974, from Wesleyan, where he played football, wrote poetry and prose, and held down part-time jobs. He was invited to give an update about his varied life since Wesleyan: his graduate work at Harvard Divinity School, his Los Angeles career, his life since we returned to the orchard back in 1986, his role in the community and most recently in writing and directing our SIMPLE LIVING television series for public television. I wish I could be up on the podium with him to cheer him on and add my own two cents worth, but I have to get ready for my own speech this coming Monday in Washington DC to Dr. David Trauger’s graduate class on sustainability at Virginia Tech, Alexandria campus. Life, as the saying goes, is good!
