Stan King is a San Francisco Bay Area speaker, writer and organizer who helps people live more healthy and conscious lives. He has helped set up and run 15 simplicity study circles involving over 350 people in the Bay Area. He has also helped organize three conferences – the over 1,400 people who participated learned how to live healthier, more conscious and meaningful lives.
He has worked with local government and environmentalists to set aside open space and create riparian habitat in the rapidly urbanizing Bay Area. He is also the Chair of the Simplicity Forum, a national organization and alliance of simplicity leaders.
Mr. King has been an engineer, manager and executive in high technology and telecommunications. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, an MS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
