Paul Belk
Manager, Belk Department Store, Mt. Airy, NC
As an active member of Mount Airy civic services, Paul Belk brings locality to the Simple Living Advisory Board. He works as the manager of Belk’s (founded by his grandfather in the 1800s) in addition to such roles as the 2001 chair on the Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce, former board member to the Mount Airy Salvation Army, and Young Life. Belk is also an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Airy and his local Rotary Club.
While he is originally from Charlotte where he received his degree in history at UNC-Charlotte, Belk has spent his last 10 years in Mount Airy, NC. He makes is home with his wife Cecelia and their three children, Patrick, Andrew, and Laura.
